FAQ

Questions about this tool

Does this support multiple sheets?

When converting from Excel, only the first sheet is used for the CSV/JSON preview and export — multi-sheet workbooks are read but this tool focuses on single-table conversion.

How is a TSV file detected?

Files ending in .tsv, or CSV content where tabs are clearly the dominant separator, are parsed as tab-separated automatically — no manual setting needed.

Will special characters and accents be preserved?

Yes, files are read and written using proper text encoding, so accented characters, currency symbols and other Unicode text come through correctly.

What does the JSON output look like?

Each row becomes one JSON object, with your header row's values used as the property names — the result is a single JSON array ready to use in code.
