How does "exclude weekends" work?

When enabled, Saturdays and Sundays are not counted in the day total — the result shows business days only, useful for estimating working-day deadlines or delivery times.

Is the difference inclusive or exclusive of the start date?

The difference is calculated as the number of days between the two dates (exclusive of one endpoint), matching how most people intuitively count "days until" something.

What happens if I add months to a date near the end of a month?

If adding a month would land on a day that doesn't exist in the target month (like adding one month to January 31st), the result rolls to the last valid day of that month, following standard date-arithmetic convention.

Can the second date be before the first date?

Yes — the difference is always shown as a positive number of days, weeks, months and years regardless of which date you enter first.
