FAQ

Questions about this tool

Can I crop to a ratio that isn't listed?

The listed ratios cover the most common use cases; for anything else, choose Free and drag the crop box to the exact proportions you need.

Does rotating before cropping change the final image quality?

Rotation is applied to the canvas before export, so the final cropped image reflects the rotation cleanly without any extra quality loss beyond normal image re-encoding.

What format is the cropped image saved as?

The cropped result is exported in the same general format as your source image (PNG stays PNG, JPG stays JPG) so transparency and quality are preserved where applicable.

Can I crop the same image more than once?

Yes, click "Do another" after downloading to load a fresh copy of the editor, or re-upload the same file to try a different crop.
