FAQ

Questions about this tool

What does the error correction level do?

Higher error correction lets a QR code still scan correctly even if part of it is damaged, dirty, or covered by a logo — the trade-off is a visually denser code, since more of it is used for redundancy.

How does the WiFi QR code work?

It encodes your network name, password and security type into a special format that phone cameras recognize automatically, prompting the user to join the network with one tap instead of typing the password.

Will a UPI QR code let anyone pay me directly?

Yes — a UPI QR code encodes your UPI ID (and optionally a fixed amount), so scanning it opens the payer's UPI app pre-filled and ready to send payment to that ID. Only share it with people you intend to receive payment from.

Should I download PNG or SVG?

PNG is simplest for sharing digitally or on social media. SVG is a vector format that stays perfectly sharp at any print size, which makes it the better choice for posters, packaging or large signage.
