FAQ

Questions about this tool

What is the difference between the two split modes?

"Extract a page range" pulls out a continuous range like pages 3–7 into a single new PDF. "Split every page" breaks the whole document into individual one-page PDFs and packages them together in a ZIP file.

Will splitting reduce the quality of my pages?

No. Each output page is copied directly from the original PDF, preserving text, images and formatting exactly as they were — nothing is re-rendered or recompressed.

Can I extract pages that are out of order, like 5 and 2?

The range mode currently extracts a continuous range (from page X to page Y). To pull out non-consecutive pages, use "split every page" and download only the individual files you need from the ZIP.

Is there a page count limit?

No artificial limit — very large PDFs (500+ pages) will simply take a little longer to process since everything runs on your device rather than a server.
