Questions about this tool

Can I use my own text instead of "CONFIDENTIAL"?

Yes, the Watermark text field accepts any text you like, up to 60 characters — company names, "DRAFT", "SAMPLE", or anything else.

Can the watermark be removed later?

This tool bakes the watermark permanently into the page content, the same way most watermarking works, so keep your original unwatermarked file if you may need it again.

Will the watermark cover up my document's content?

By default it is set to low opacity and rotated diagonally so it sits behind the readability of your text — you can lower the opacity further or adjust size and rotation to fit your document.

Can I add a watermark to only some pages?

Yes, type a page range such as "2-10" into the Pages field, or leave it as "all" to watermark the entire document.
