Write an email in 3 steps
Describe the situation
Type what you would tell a colleague: “need 3 days leave from 12 March, work handed to Rahul”. Shorthand, missing punctuation and half-sentences are all fine — that is what the tool is built to read.
Choose tone and length
Formal, Friendly or Direct, and Short, Standard or Detailed. Adding your name and the recipient’s name makes the greeting and sign-off complete; leave them blank and clear placeholders are used instead.
Check, edit and send
The subject line and body are both editable. Copy the whole email, copy the subject on its own, download it as a text file, or open it straight in your mail app with the recipient filled in.
Better briefs make better emails
Include who you are writing to, your main purpose, important dates or amounts, and what you want the recipient to do. Mention anything the email should avoid. You can request a language or a specific word limit in your brief.
Does this send the email?
No. It creates a draft only. You decide what to send. Opening your email app does not send the message.
Where does my brief go?
Your brief and optional names are sent through this website to Groq for processing. This endpoint does not save the brief or draft. The optional recipient email stays in your browser until you choose to open your mail app. Groq processing is subject to its service terms and data policies.
Should I check the draft?
Yes. Check facts, tone and any placeholders before sending. AI can make mistakes. Detailed mode adds structure and clarity, but should not invent details.
Are there usage limits?
The service uses a free AI allowance. If it is busy or unavailable, your notes stay in the editor so you can try again later.
Can I improve an email I already wrote?
