Online Form File Checker
Check your file before uploading it
Select the requirements printed on your application portal. A pass only confirms these file properties, not acceptance by the portal.
No account. No file uploads. No paid API. Your files are processed in this browser.
How to get the best result
- Keep your original file and select a copy to work on.
- Enter only the requirements stated by your portal. Blank fields are not checked. KB uses 1,024 bytes; portals may measure size differently.
- Review every result. For PDFs, this tool checks the file signature and size only; it does not inspect page content, encryption or page dimensions.
Useful next steps
Resize an image · Compress to a target size · Convert an image · Photo and signature guide · Image size guide
Files stay on this device. Close the page or use Clear to discard the current results. Nothing is saved to an account.
Example: a photo for an application form
Suppose an application asks for a JPG photo exactly 300 × 300 pixels and no larger than 50 KB. Select JPG, enter 50 in Maximum size, and enter 300 for both dimensions. Here 50 KB means 51,200 bytes. If the result says 60 KB, the file fails the size rule even if its dimensions are correct. If it says 300 × 299, it fails the exact-height rule even if the picture looks square.
After a failed check
- Keep the original. Use Image Cropper if the required shape differs from the photo.
- Use Image Resizer to reach the exact pixels, then Image Compressor if the saved file is still too large.
- Check the downloaded file again here. Conversion and compression can change its format, dimensions or size.
A green result checks only the rules you entered. It cannot judge whether the face is centred, the background meets the portal's instructions, the signature is legible, or the portal accepts the file. For a PDF it cannot check page count, page dimensions or whether the file is password protected. Always use the portal's own preview and final confirmation.
